Kinji Hakari vs. Hajime Kashimo is one of the most brutal and unpredictable battles of the Culling Game. Unlimited cursed energy, lightning-fueled combat, and reckless gambling collide in a fight decided by luck, skill, and sheer insanity.

Kinji Hakari vs. Hajime Kashimo is a battle fought between Tokyo Jujutsu High third-year student Kinji Hakari and the incarnated sorcerer Hajime Kashimo during the Culling Game. The fight takes place in the Tokyo No. 2 Colony and stands as one of the most chaotic and high-risk confrontations of the arc, driven by Kashimo’s obsession with locating Sukuna and Hakari’s reckless reliance on luck and overwhelming cursed energy.

Before Hakari enters the battlefield, Panda is brutally defeated and dismembered by Kashimo. Despite the torture, Panda refuses to reveal any information regarding Sukuna. Just as Kashimo prepares to finish him off, Hakari suddenly drops in behind him, surging with cursed energy. His arrival immediately captures Kashimo’s attention, giving Panda hope as he recognizes his ally. Intrigued by the prospect of a powerful opponent, Kashimo warns Hakari not to excite him unless he can deliver, and the two clash almost instantly.

Hakari opens the fight with a supercharged right hook that breaks through Kashimo’s guard, sending him crashing across the shipping yard and through several freight containers. Without giving Kashimo time to recover, Hakari closes the distance and launches an unconventional backward dropkick attempt. Although Kashimo narrowly avoids a direct hit, the impact dents a nearby shipping crate and grazes his face, drawing blood and signaling Hakari’s immense physical power.

It soon becomes clear that Hakari’s overwhelming cursed energy output allows him to ignore Kashimo’s electricity-based cursed energy trait. Kashimo is fascinated not only by Hakari’s strength but also by the music playing around him, a byproduct of Hakari’s technique. The two agree to a wager: if Hakari wins, Kashimo will hand over his points, and if Kashimo wins, Hakari will tell him about Sukuna. Shortly after, Hakari receives a bonus of cursed energy and enters a euphoric state, leaving himself vulnerable. Kashimo takes advantage, landing a clean series of strikes, but grows irritated when Hakari fails to resist.

Hakari abruptly interrupts Kashimo’s taunts with a devastating right straight, sending him flying and following up with a flying knee while Kashimo is still reeling. Kashimo counters by grabbing Hakari’s leg mid-attack and delivering a spinning elbow to his jaw. Although Hakari withstands the blow, Kashimo escalates the fight by unleashing a lightning attack that blasts Hakari’s left arm off. To Kashimo’s surprise, Hakari immediately counterattacks, even regenerating the destroyed limb.

When the bonus round ends and the music fades, Hakari’s cursed energy returns to normal levels. Having restored his technique, Hakari expands his Domain Expansion: Idle Death Gamble, which instantly transfers its rules to Kashimo through its sure-hit effect. Kashimo realizes that Hakari’s limitless cursed energy and reverse cursed technique are the result of hitting a jackpot within the domain.

As the domain shifts into probability mode, Hakari prepares to gamble once more. Kashimo quickly proves dominant while Hakari is in his base state, overwhelming him with speed and precision. Kashimo knocks Hakari unconscious repeatedly, only for Hakari to use the domain’s replay mechanic to undo the damage and force the fight to restart. After two consecutive replays, the domain enters riichi mode, dramatically raising the stakes.

The domain eventually resolves with Hakari hitting another jackpot, triggering his unkillable bonus round. Acknowledging Hakari’s infinite cursed energy and automatic reverse cursed technique, Kashimo understands that waiting out the round would ensure victory, but refuses to fight that way. Determined to kill Hakari at his strongest, Kashimo presses the attack as the battle escalates into a high-speed exchange that reduces shipping containers to scrap.

As the bonus round nears its end, Hakari grows faster and more aggressive, but Kashimo secretly stores electrical charge in his staff. Just as the round expires, Kashimo releases the charge through Hakari’s body, seemingly delivering a fatal blow. Believing the fight to be over, Kashimo declares victory, only for Hakari to expand his domain one final time. Gambling on impossible odds, Hakari immediately hits another jackpot, fully restoring himself and shocking Kashimo once again.

Hakari shifts the collapsing barrier toward the ocean, hoping to neutralize Kashimo’s electrified cursed energy. Their fight continues underwater, where Kashimo generates chlorine gas through electrolysis in an attempt to poison Hakari. Despite the toxin and crushing pressure, Hakari’s reverse cursed technique detoxifies his body unconsciously. With seconds remaining, Hakari chooses to stay underwater, sacrificing his own arm to survive a massive steam explosion.

After the explosion, Kashimo surfaces convinced he has won. Moments later, Hakari emerges from the water and lands a final right hook, defeating Kashimo at last. Rather than killing him, Hakari refuses, acknowledging that Kashimo never used his cursed technique and that killing him would erase his points. Kashimo admits his technique is reserved solely for Sukuna, prompting Hakari to offer him a deal.

When Panda arrives, Hakari reveals that Kashimo has agreed to cooperate in exchange for a chance to fight Sukuna. Although Panda objects to the danger this poses, Hakari dismisses his concerns, leaving Kashimo confused by their banter. The battle ends not with death, but with an uneasy alliance born from risk, luck, and overwhelming resolve.
